Fiorentina is an Italian professional football club based in Florence, Italy. The club is significant in Icelandic media due to the presence of Icelandic professional footballer Albert Guðmundsson, who plays as an attacking midfielder or forward for their Serie A team and the Iceland national team. Fiorentina permanently acquired Guðmundsson from Genoa in June 2025 after a successful loan spell.
