Rannsóknarnefnd samgönguslysa (RNSA) is an independent Icelandic government agency responsible for investigating aviation, marine, and road accidents. Established in 2013, its primary goal is to determine the causes of transportation accidents and incidents, not to assign blame or responsibility, in order to enhance safety and reduce future occurrences. The agency operates under the Ministry of Infrastructure and has three main divisions: aviation, marine, and road.
