Kaíró is the Icelandic name for Cairo, the capital and largest city of Egypt. It is a significant location for Iceland's men's national handball team, as they are scheduled to play two friendly international matches against Egypt in Kaíró in May of this year. Cairo is also a major cultural and political center in the Middle East and Africa, with a rich history dating back over a thousand years.
