Arnar Pétursson

Arnar Pétursson is an Icelandic long-distance runner and handball coach. He holds the Icelandic national record for the 100 km race, which he recently improved in March 2026, achieving the second-fastest time globally that year. Pétursson is also the coach for the Icelandic women's national handball team and has previously coached the Fram women's handball team. He has won numerous national championships in running, with some sources indicating over 70 titles.
