Orion

Orion is NASA's spacecraft designed to take humans into deep space, primarily for the Artemis missions to the Moon and eventually Mars. It is built by Lockheed Martin and launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket. While not directly an Icelandic entity, Iceland plays a significant role in the Orion program as a training ground for Artemis astronauts due to its lunar-like volcanic terrain.
