CERT-IS is the national Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) of Iceland, established in 2013 and operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It serves as the national point of contact for cybersecurity incidents, working to prevent and mitigate cyber-attacks and other security events within Iceland's critical information infrastructure and telecommunications sector. CERT-IS recently identified that approximately five thousand smart devices and computers in Iceland have been infected with the BADBOX malware.
