Tékkland is the Icelandic name for the Czech Republic, a landlocked country in Central Europe. Iceland and the Czech Republic established diplomatic relations on January 1, 1993, and maintain ties through an honorary consulate in Reykjavík and the Icelandic embassy in Vienna. The Czech Air Force also participates in NATO's Icelandic Air Policing mission. The term "Tékkland" is also used by an Icelandic vehicle inspection company, Tékkland bifreiðaskoðun ehf., which operates inspection stations across Iceland.
