Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir
EinstaklingurÞorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir is a prominent Icelandic politician, currently serving as the Minister for Foreign Affairs since December 2024 and as the chairwoman of the Liberal Reform Party (Viðreisn) since 2017. She has a long and distinguished career in Icelandic politics, having previously held ministerial positions such as Minister of Education, Science and Culture (2003-2009) and Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture (2017). She was also a member of the Althing (Icelandic Parliament) from 1999 to 2013 for the Independence Party, and again from 2016 for the Liberal Reform Party.
